love without boundaries...fallintostars

fallintostars propels a mystical experience of boundless wonder, as lovers transcend time and space to journey into a parallel universe. This dazzling fragrance ignites the smoldering flame of their passion, incandescent as a meteor shower that lights up the night.

Honeyed notes of jonquil nectar bring a delicate sparkle to the enveloping drama of pure Indian oud, the deep sensuality of rosewood, the powerful warmth of amber and the rose-inflected sweetness of pink peppercorns.

Apply onto pulse points to soar into the next dimension.

Our 100 ml and 50 ml eau de parfum is beautifully presented with a custom-designed 24 karat gold-plated cap.

Our 15ml eau de parfum is topped with a gold-tone cap.

ROSEWOOD
SCENT: Slightly rosy, warm, woody, and floral. A highly diffusive oil, it connects well with both heart and top notes.
ORIGIN/PRODUCTION: Rosewood oil is obtained by chipping Aniba rosaeodora prior to distillation. The rosewood we use in fallintostars is sourced sustainably from a distillery in the Peruvian Amazon.

JONQUIL
SCENT: Heady, rich floral with musky undertones.
ORIGIN/PRODUCTION: The jonquil in fallintostars is derived from the French daffodil, or "cream narcissus." They are often harvested at the "one bell" stage, when only one flower is open on the spike. Natural jonquil is rarely used in perfumery today.

LABDANUM
SCENT: Sensual and warm leathery resin, the smell of Labdanum can be reminiscent of Ambergris. Labdanum improves the longevity of a fragrance when formulated well among other ingredients, helping a perfume linger nicely. ORIGIN/PRODUCTION: Obtained from the Cistus plant. Sometimes known as Rock Rose, which grows in Corsica, the South of France. The raw resin is extracted by boiling the leaves and twigs.

DISCLAIMER: Due to the use of natural oils, absolutes, and essences in strangelove’s perfumes, it is not uncommon for sediment or darkening to appear in your perfume. Over time, a perfume is subject to disintegration and oxidation of the natural ingredients in particular and sometimes, the alcohol can cause evaporation as well. These are normal occurrences for natural perfumes, similar to natural teas and wines.

Like Falling in Love Under a Starry Sky

Time for a change of perfume wardrobe, so my summer fragrances went to winter rest. On this occasion, I found a fragrance that had forgotten about, and it is worth writing about it, because it is an extremely beautiful composition. Is an oud- floral perfume, but very different from the proposals of dozens of other brands that follow the same scheme. Here we have a wonderfully served narcissus flower, dancing in a resinous, honey- like agar, slightly tamed and delicate. After some time, the fragrance becomes more woody, slightly sweet thanks to the accent of rosewood and vanilla. I also smell cinnamon and a few other ingredients that are not in the list of notes. The perfume is very complex but everything here fits together, nothing clashes or pinches, and the whole gives an extremely elegant, sophisticated effect, warm, spacious and noble. The smell is almost magical, seductive. You can feel the high quality of the ingredients and the artful, masterful combination of them. I must also add that parameters such as durability and projection are simply outstanding, enviable. One application of perfume allows vou to enjoy them for a minimum of 8 or more hours, at least in my case.
I'll write you something...
It's like falling in love under a starry sky.

Beautifully Complex

A stunning amber rose oud, whose rose is conjured by narcissus, rosewood & pink pepper. It feels like you're bathing in darkness while soft floral tones flicker like stars in the night sky above, so it's aptly named. Here it's narcissus & oud that take you on an adventure. This feels dreamy- imagine melting & falling back into an expensive rich exotic wood, as soft gingery, nutty, spiced honeyed floral tones highlighted with splashes of fruit & green facets that sparkle like stars. Pink pepper adds this bright shimmer & soft almost woodgrain feel to this elegant musky narcissus, which acts almost like oakmoss laying on a bed of rosewood. Theres just a slight medical green funk from the oud, it gives you this sensual feel, like your snuggling close to your lover though a soft, woody floral veil. It's making the florals come alive. There's just a touch of woody sweetness used to round the sharper sides as it plays off the oud in a fun innocent way, think sweet vanilla & carnal desire. Those pink pepper notes continue to shimmer like stars in this dark oud woody floral musk, making you dream of dusty wild roses, growing out in nature, softly wrapping around you, rubbing their scent on your skin. A spiced sweetness grows from a darker depth, it reminds me of those slightly surreal color tones you get from moonlight. The texture too has this powdery woody haze that's almost milky like the moon, it's dense yet translucent making it feel delicate like a petal surrounded by darkness.

Long lasting but not heavy

Fallintostars is light when I compare it to the others. And yes, it has a slight barn note from the oud. But it's wonderful, not overbearing or gross, but gives it that special something. It has a subtle fruity note through the ginger and bergamot. A really minimal minty/mentholy note I detect. The saffron just the right amount, not too much and not too little. And even though it's very potent, long lasting and also gives off relatively well. It's not heavy. If I usually like it sweet, he is also not. Also rosewood, that is rather difficult with me in fragrances, does not bother me here. I find him very elegant, one falls perhaps on, but he is not too much.
